HOSPITALITY – Il Salone dell’Accoglienza: a new name and a new visual identity for Expo Riva Hotel

Riva del Garda, 15 May 2019 - Expo Riva Hotel, the leading Italian trade fair for the hospitality and catering sector, aims at consolidating its role as a reference point for the Ho.Re.Ca. world with a new name and a new visual identity. From the next edition, scheduled in Riva del Garda from 2nd to 5th February 2020, Expo Riva Hotel becomes Hospitality – Il Salone Dell’Accoglienza (The Hospitality fair), with a more contemporary and international image, which summarizes and represents the experience and the background of its previous 44 editions, oriented towards the future and the needs of companies and professionals.

"Hospitality is the most complete Italian fair dedicated to hospitality and catering, a sector represented by many realities that are confronted with a world in continuous evolution and in line with lifestyles - comments Roberto Pellegrini, president of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, who organized the event. - Through this path, the event that has established itself over the years as a reference exhibition in Italy, aiming at investing in the past experience to interpret the present, while becoming a real hub of trends and innovations both in our country and abroad.

The new concept tells the story of a reality with a consolidated past, yet keeping up with currrent times and dynamics, and always ready to face the challenges of the future. For this reason, the Hospitality logo, the H pictogram, is built as a "Quality Brand Mark", a guarantee of value for companies and professionals working in the Ho.Re.Ca. sector.

There is a synergy between past and future in the graphic sign of the logo. At its centre, the iconic "H" element represents the common thread that projects the historic Expo Riva Hotel brand in the contemporary world of hospitality and catering that is the key element of Hospitality. The development of the logo is completed by the new payoff "Il Salone dell'Accoglienza" (The Hospitality Fair) which surrounds the pictogram and reflects Hospitality's 360 degrees approach to the sector, from the hôtellerie to the artisan producers of local excellence, to wellness, to training.

In addition to the logo and naming of the event, the rebranding also involved the rebranding of the thematic areas - Contract&Wellness, Beverage, Food&Equipment, Renovation&Tech - to which it is addressed.

The Show will also propose some appointments that have already met with great success in recent editions, such as the refresher and training sessions linked to the Hospitality Academy's world of hospitality and professional catering; the Solobirra project, aimed at enhancing and promoting the spread of a real artisan beer culture, and RPM - Riva Pianeta Mixology, dedicated to the new trends in mixed drinks with master classes and professional seminars.

Organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, Hospitality - formerly Expo Riva Hotel - boasts an exhibition area of over 39,000 square meters. In the 2019 edition, the Fair hit record numbers: 525 exhibitors, 21,135 professional operators, and more than 28,000 visitors. The 44th edition will be held in Riva del Garda from the 2nd to 5th of February 2020.
