Design and Visual Identity Success at Expo Riva Hotel is in the details

2019 will see creativity applied to the hospitality and catering sector find its best expression at the 43rd Expo Riva Hotel, the most comprehensive Italian fair dedicated to the HO.RE.CA sector, scheduled from 3 through 6 February at the Exhibition Center of Riva del Garda.

This high-profile appointment with interior design is hosted by the fair as a whole but also and above all by the Indoor & Outdoor Contract theme area. 5,000 square meters showcasing stunning installations displaying classic and contemporary furniture concepts characterized by prestigious and cutting edge materials.

A selection of over 150 companies specializing in design-led contract hotel furniture that represents the entire Made in Italy chain with their quality and professionalism.

The story behind the event dates back to the year 2014 which witnessed a significant surge in hotel redevelopment and renovation projects after the Tax credit was introduced. Thus, the hospitality and catering sector needed a showcase for all the actors involved.

Expo Riva Hotel, an acknowledged annual event for designers, architects, interior designers and operators in the field is today the major showcase for thousands of companies and operators on the lookout for their visual identity.

Each accommodation has its own history, its philosophy, and its hospitality style that must be immediately felt by the customer. In this context, interior design plays a fundamental role because the harmonious juxtaposition of colours, the choice of fabrics, the originality of the furnishings can turn out to be very powerful tools to express one's own identity – says Carla Costa, Riva del Garda Fierecongressi fair manager.

Looking for new materials, being inspired by shapes, aiming at beauty without neglecting practicality and comfort are therefore simple actions that can positively contribute to the success of a hotel, a bar, a restaurant or a pub.

The 2019 new entry within the Solobirra special project, Best Label is a competition dedicated to craft beers visual identity. Handmade graphics combined with stunning colour palettes and lettering are the protagonists of a contest that will evaluate originality behind the concept, design quality and communicative power of the competing labels involving not only breweries, but also graphic and labelling studios as well as advertising agencies.
