The Future Of Hospitality At ‘Hospitality Digital Space’

Thursday, December 3, 2020

From February 1st to 4th 2021, training, trends and business opportunities to lead the way through the changes affecting the Ho.Re.Ca. sector with a new, dynamic, future-oriented space

From 1st to 4th February 2021, Riva del Garda Fierecongressi presents Hospitality Digital Space - a special edition of Hospitality - designed to provide all those professionals working in the hospitality and catering  industries the very best tools to navigate their way through the changes.

While we look forward to coming back, in 2022, to appreciating the excellence of over 500 companies who, every year, chose Hospitality - the ho.re.ca. trade fair - to present their products to the community, ‘Hospitality Digital Space’ offers a new, dynamic,  virtual space in which to benefit from training and create new business opportunities through networking and synergy.

“The uncertainty created by the health emergency does not permit us to guarantee the usual kind of exhibition. But Hospitality is aimed at a very ‘physical’ world, made of real things, flavours and experiences, as yet impossible to transfer completely   in a digital format – comments Alessandra Albarelli, Managing Director of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi. – We have therefore placed the demands of our exhibitors and visitors centre stage as they belong to one of the sectors that has been worst-affected   by the pandemic and who need all the tools and knowledge they can get to be able to innovate and rethink their business activities. Hence our decision to go ahead with the event by creating ‘Hospitality Digital Space,’ a training programme that  will  enable the sector to meet and talk, giving a new impulse to their businesses.”

Hospitality Digital Space will see the involvement of experts and professional testimonials in free meetings and workshops, enhancing business and offering the opportunity for visibility to companies and partners in the Expo Area.  A packed calendar  of meetings, including updates for hotel management, design, hygiene, food & beverage, technology, mixology and brewery trends. And then, on Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th February, there will be a specialised programme for training and keeping  hospitality digital managers up-to-date with ‘Onspitality.’

“We want to offer all the support necessary for the sector to be able to design the future of hospitality by keeping the ‘Hospitality’ event as a hub, where ideas can be shared and synergies created, a place where you can discover and learn about  useful  tools to help grow your business by making it competitive – continues Alessandra Albarelli. – Many professionals, thanks to online training, have been able to react in the past few months by modifying their services and by using new  instruments to  diversify their offer. Bedrooms have been re-designed, bar areas, lounges and communal areas have been revisited, and reception halls have been changed, including check-in and check-out systems, making the most of technology  to ensure social distancing  and sanitisation of the premises. The future of hospitality will continue to move in this direction, focusing on sustainability and the enhancement of the local area, whilst paying careful attention to safety.”

The Solobirra, Best Label and, new for this year, best Pack competitions  have been re-confirmed for this year. Top producers from the brewing industry will have the chance to show off their creations by following the relevant  regulations. In the  Spring, the judges will get together to evaluate the flavour qualities, the labels, the originality and creativity of the packaging and will award the prizes.
